Joe Biden Obama's running-mate

Just gotta say I'm loving some of the Hilary supporters' reactions.

"WAAHH WAAHH! My heroine didn't make the ticket, so now I'll throw a temper tantrum and go vote for a guy who stands ideologically opposite of everything I supported her nomination for!"

Women are bitches.

I hope this isn't grossly off topic. DON'T BE SHEEP.

I will never vote for anyone who has interests in oil companies. Something corrupts them. They don't care about America, the world, people. They care about money.

Check McCain's background. Friend of mine mentioned him in the same sentence with the words 'Bush' and 'Oil'

Aug 4, 2008 ... Senator John McCain received a burst of donations in June from oil company employees after he came out in favor of offshore drilling, ...

McCain's plan would give away $920 million of Washington's tax dollars to oil companies in the next five years.
Report: McCain Received $881,450 From Big Oil Since He Announced Support For Offshore Drilling?

I hope you're joking.

Every nation in the world is currently having economic problems, at least to some degree. It's not just America, and I doubt that the war has made much difference, seeing as how the US hasn't had a trade surplus since 1973..

The War in Iraq has a huge impact not just on the American economy, but also the economies of other countries in the world dependent on oil. Oil availibility is quite a bit more scarce now since the war with Iraq, and because of it. Things would have started to get shitty eventually, but the war rapidly accelerated it. Huge amounts of oil being consumed for jets and other planes, as well as tanks and trucks and hummers. Oil wells being attacked, destroyed, or just threatened and unprofitable. Or countries are just being hugely more conservative with who they trade their oil with, or changing their prices to something higher.

It is because of all this that global gas prices and as a result food prices are rising, and those are large factors(not all the factors) in the stability of many economies.

Not just women unfortunately. Hilary had a huge number of white male blue collar supporters... that are one of the biggest threats of siding with McCain.

It would seem to me that I am the only one in this forum that wants to see McCain win.

Why is that so unfortunate? I don't see how Obama is so wonderfully better than Mccain, or even Bush.

If McCain wins the country will be run with only the interests of the super-rich and the conglomerates they work in for another 4 years, with whatever scraps of wealth that can be spared tossed down to everyone else to keep them happy and ignorant. After another 4 years of that, America will be beyond saving. Obama's not gonna fix everything, or anything, but it's McCain that will continue to drive America down the road of catastrophe.

Obama is just as deeply in the pocket of big business as McCain.

Indeed. Who isn't?

EDIT: Question only half rhetorical.

That's true and is very bad for China and sad ;(
Can you give me any helpful websites for helping to free China??

Free China

That is a problem because I cannot read Chinese, only Tibetan script ;(

Free China!!!!!!

It is not a spam bot he just wants to free China like me and I hope you do too!!!

I'm not even a big McCain fan, but Obama is laughable. An empty suit of promises whose message centers around the words change and hope. The problem is there is no substance as he gives no real answers as to how he will go about his changes. He is to indecisive. I believe the majority of his votes in congress were "present" rather than yes or no. That is not the sign of a leader.

Obama has associations with to many people who hate the US for me to vote for him. The latest being a mentor for the leader of the black panthers. I think he honestly has about a snowballs chance in hell in getting elected. The closer we get it will be obvious. He most recently made claims he will try to get reparations for a variety of minority groups in the US. Mostly for things done long before anyone alive today was born. If the media actually reports on this it won't be good for him.

your current leader can barely tie his own shoe without falling over/making a verbal guffaw ...McCain seems to me to be cut from the same cloth ..I actually kinda hope McCain wins ..he's incredibly easy to make fun of and with his volitile temper he'll give me ample opportunity

:upstare: stop reading fox"news" ...someone supposedly from the black panthers posted on his website that they endorse Obama. Ignoring the fact that pretty much anyone could have posted it, how is Obama responsible for who supports him? I'm sure there's plenty of racists and rednecks who support McCain ..probably the KKK as well seeing as how McCain opposition is a BLACK dude ..so that must mean that McCain has dealings with the KKK

the bi-partisan shit each party stirs up is appalling ..its as if whole groups o people collectively lose their minds and act irrationally

you're clutching at straws from a sinking ship without a lifejacket while holding a boat anchor

I'll admit I don't remember all the details. What I read and heard though (not from Fox) is he was friends with the mentor of the founder of the black panthers. There were exact names and it was verified. Hardly as vague as you present, but I don't have a photographic memory so I will drop it there.

The bipartisan comment is laughable considering the drivel you post here daily.

well then you should have no problem finding a source that supports what you say ..I cant find anything, please provide a source

lol, I'm canadian, I dont support either party. they're both facets of the same coin. besides foreign policy domestic issues dont affect me

Actually, Obama is associated with Bill Ayers, a left wing terrorist during the 60s and 70s. Ayers participated in the bombings of NYPD Headquarters in 1970, the United States Capitol building in 1971, and The Pentagon in 1972. On a lolz note, his girlfriend died in 1970 in an explosion in New York City, when a bomb she was constructing with Terry Robbins accidentally detonated, destroying the building and killing her and a few other terrorists in the process.

Ayers' contacts with the 2008 Democratic Nominee for President of the United States, Barack Obama became controversial in the 2008 United States presidential election. The two served together on the Woods Fund Board from 1999 until Obama left in 2002. Ayers had other contacts with Obama as a resident of Chicago's Hyde Park neighborhood, hosting Obama's first fund raising reception in his first Illinois state Senate campaign in 1995, appearing on education panels together, and donating $200 to Obama's campaign in April 2001.

That combined with his wife's "For the first time in my adult lifetime, I'm really proud of my country" speech, his pastor's of 20 years "God Damn America" speech, his constant changing of positions with the tide of public opinion, and his "change and hope, but I'm not telling you how, tee-hee" concerts show me a man of shady background. Not saying that McCain is a saint (I can't believe his actions regarding his first wife, or his stand on Illegal Immigration), in fact I believe that no politician is to be trusted, but I wouldn't vote for Obama.

To top it all off, it seems that all the foreigners want Obama.

That's not a good thing.

Source that bullshit

'Course, it's difficult to categorise Weather as "terrorist" since they specifically, purposefully and successfully avoided actually injuring anyone - civilians or government personell - and certainly did not make a target of the civilian population. Considering what the US government was doing to its citizens at the time, I find their actions mostly justified.

I think it's foolish to assume that Obama shares their beliefs, though, and difficult to believe wholeheartedly that Obama in government will actually that radical.

lol he knows the guy, so he is directly "associated" with him?
McCain votes with Bush 90% of the time. So,does that automatically make him a Power Drunk, Lying, Spying, Incompetent, Blundering, Profiteering, Warmongering Idiot bound to **** up this country and its relations with others even further?

As usual, you're full of shit and desperation like the majority of neocon right wingers, which i assume you are or otherwise you wouldn't be posting this sensationalist bullshit. If you believe that another republican is going to win this presidency, then you are gravely mistaken my friend.
