Could someone recommend a joystick? I've been looking on the internet for about 10 minutes but I can't find a site that reviews joysticks.

Thanks, I'll check this site out. I was thinking of getting the Sidewinder precision 2.0 but I can't seem to find it's price anywhere.

I have a sidewinder, non force feed back. (Hate those things) They are pretty cheap, 25$ I think when I got mine, probably 20 bucks now. I use it for bf1942.. Won many a dog fight with it. :)

You know what I hate?

Right handed only joysticks, like wtf.

They should stop descriminating us lefty's biotch.

There was some company that made customizable sticks.. I think it was saitek actually, like the cyborg I think the name was.. You could move the hand rest to either side. Although it was rather uncomfortable to begin with. lol

Yeah, thats why I like saitek, the ST90 is either right or left without having to move anything.

this is what i'll be buying for christmas: http://www.saitekusa.com/usa/prod/cyborg_evo.htm

I use a MS Force Feedback 2. I really like it, but it's pretty big. I play a lot of IL-2 Sturmovik and MS Flight Simulator, so it's nice.

I'd recommend any stick that feels solid and comfortable and doesn't cost less than 25 bucks.

HL2 Force Feedback Support would ROCK!

Does HL2 support Force Feedback? There are some pretty cool FF vests that I would LOVE to use with HL2.. Not to mention the gun recoil of shooting some of the guns in HL2... hehe Anyone know where I can find out?

I don't really like joysticks. Maybe it's because before this year I was all console gaming. But I got a Nyko Airflo gamepad today, it's very nice. I didn't even care about the fans, I got it cause it was cheap had 2 joysticks and plenty of buttons, I wouldn't use it for an fps but for games like Madden I'm too used to using an Xbox controller, I could never play them on a keyboard and mouse.

I have a Logitech Wingman Digital Extreme. It is fairly old, but it still gets the job done whenever I need a joystick.

You should really go to a store and see which one you like the best.

I use joysticks for...battlefield 1942/V and mods, flight sims etc.
I don't use joysticks for FPS games, although I did have a really old IBM joystick that I used for some of the old Dos games. ;)
Similar to these but not quite, mine had 2 buttons. :p

I wish Q3 had support for my PS2 style controller onsept for the Pc.
Military Forces mod..has a small community compared to a long time ago but is an amazingly flight mod. Planes are sooo pimpin. I have a joystick but its like 2 buttons ^_^. Super Old!

Yeah that one is really good.

SO does HL2 support Force-Feedback or not??? I have asked Valve this and no response.....

I use THIS JOYSTICK

But only for Flightsims - mostly IL2 :naughty:

It's really good - except that Battlefield doesn't get the throttle to work :dozey:
