Jump to next level for airboat gun??

Hi forum readers:

I can't get the Vort to weld the gun on my console airboat, even though the game indicated how to "fire" the gun...

Someone mentioned that you could force-load to the next level then use a cheat or it will appear with the gun on it.

What is the cheat code for the next load level only? I suppose I could noclip in that direction then walk to trigger the load level screen.

Also if I summon a 2nd boat at this time will it have a gun in place?

So between 2 players and 6 attempts we have not got the fancy gun.

The Vort might be a good talker but he is not a good welder.

I dont know the command, so do this...


look at the boat

pen console

type "ent_setname boat" and press enter

type "ent_fire boat " dont press enter, instead press the down arrow until you find somthing that looks like it would put a gun on the bat then press enter.


Repeat if neccesary.

No, the gun was not on the console created airboat after the next level load.
impulse 83 also creates a airboat.

Moving on without it.
