This is going to be the update post for Junkyard Corps, we had a media release yesterday, so I'll post that and some older stuff just to show it off ;).

If you have any comments or questions about the models or about Junkyard Corps feel free to post them and I'll see if I can answer them.

When we release new media, I will post it in here.

Our website is - HERE if you don't already know.

Weapon Media is - HERE

Vehicle Media is - HERE

Other links are on the site :) (well duh =p)

looks good, just a few quick crits.

1) the axe looks cool, but oddly shaped.... :)

2) The remote explosives look like they need new smoothing groups. And *maybe* higher res textures.

^ I agree with him. But so far it looks great, keep up the good work :).

Higher res texures definately. Also, is this supposed to be a primative type game? Remote explosives and cannons don't mix if you catch my drift.

There is a tech tree, you will start off with things like axes (The reason for the odd shape is, its supposed look like you have just ripped a bit of metal off and thrown it in a piece of wood) and move up to things like cannons and guns, and eventually missile launchers and high powered rifles.

Yeah, I like the tech tree idea (i'vee read ur guys concept many a time ;) )

just one other thing...... turn shadows on in renders! :)

Far from it, the upgrade system was influnced from S&I though, we just had a interview from jolt, conducted a few nights ago, you can find it HERE

Here is a snippit

"And you'll be using vehicles?

Duracell: Yes, we will be using vehicles; they are a highly important asset to the team if they want to survive. There are some vehicles that we have in the pipeline that have not spoke about before, so I'll spill the proverbial beans now.

The team has to collect junk to take back to the base, some of this junk (The special junk, one of these models has already been made) is too heavy for one person to carry so it must be carried back on a buggy.

The basic vehicles that will be available on most of the maps are the same for teams, starting with The Battering Ram and finishing with The Mobile Missile Battery.

I've been asked a few times about air vehicles and I really don't know what to say about them, the idea was thrown around between the group and it was one of the things that was just added to the maybe pile, if we ever decide to add air vehicles, don't expect fighter jets :)."
