No. There isn't a fourth installment of the franchise, yet. It's now in pre-production and will arrive in theatres some time in 2006.The_Monkey said:Juriassic Park 5? There isn't even a fourth, is it?
Yes!Garfield_ said:so there is a forth in production ?

Bill Monahan, who I share an agent with, has already written the script, so I can confirm that it's indeed in the works. As for when and where, no idea - though I know the script returns Sam Neill's character, Vince Vaughan's, Sir Richard Attenborough's and his granddaughter. All the original actors are expected to come back I hear - including Ariana Richards as the grandkid, apparently - and I believe Spielberg's involved in 'some' capacity.

You got it.Hazar said:you mean that the books were good and the movies were not, typical hollywood
2 was a mutilated version of The Lost World and 3 was a bastard freak-child, carved from the remaining afterbirth leftovers of the book that the second film hadn't already pillaged.He_Who_Is_Steve said:I can't imagine what it will be...

...but they still haven't done the Ceratosaurus from The Lost World. Maybe it'll be in this one! Yay!
Yep. That's them. I thought the first Jurassic Park was pretty good, but The Lost World...well, I just couldn't swallow it. They cut out Levine entirely, fabricated a new reason for the trip to Site B, combined Carr and Thorn into one character, added about 100 new people (the hunters), and they couldn't even bother to put in the COOLEST 'saurs in the book. Oh well.oldagerocker said:Were the Ceratosaurus' the camiflaged dinosaurs? they wern't in the films and i quite liked them in the book I thought the books were great, films didnt live upto them at all.

See, I don't mind if they leave stuff out as long as the movie is still GOOD (like the first one). However, the not only completely changed The Lost World, the changes made it into a BAD movie.xlucidx said:Wow, You guys take movies too seriously.
I read the JP books as well, and didn't care that the movies didn't have much from the books in them...I just watched and enjoyed them as they're meant to be.
