Just a positive thread...

After reading about the problems that a lot of people are having with Valve/ Half life2, i just wanted to share my own experience. Everything from the installation all the way to the first time i actually played the game, i never had any problems, everything went smooth.
I don't personally have any problem with steam but i can understand the frustration of some of you.
I'm playing on a AthlonXP3000, 768mb of ram and a Radeon 9600xt.
I really don't understand why the game can work fine on some pc and be a total pain on others...

yeah some people (me in fact) have problems that usually arent are fault, but I'm glad you got it all fine :cheers:

And only problem with my laptop I'm using is a I have a integrated nVIDIA based video card lol, I'm changing it soon any ways but I'm having A TON of problems, tomorrow I have to install the game for the 5th time, due to it being retarded, I'm gonna have to get a hard copy though. Aaaaanyways, as I said, congrats on your not-suckieness! :E :cheers: :thumbs: :naughty: :smoking: etc. etc.
