Now the whole cheese on toast thing is pretty much a knee-jerk reaction for me now so please don't take offence at the lack of it :)
Anyways, I've never used eBay before, and I just bought this and the shipping within the US s $12, but as I'm a resident of fair old Blighty how much d'you think it'll cost to send it to the UK? And how long d'you reckon it'd take?
Also, could you confirm that it's the same as this ?
Anyhoo - cheers for any advice.

Usually people that only list postage prices within the US are only willing to post to within the US - always use ebay.co.uk and search for items available to the uk (which includes overseas items that can be delivered to the UK).

Cheese toasties are better than your average cheese on toast....mark my words.

Cheers for the advice, but now it's done it's much of a muchness, really.
It did say that he shipped worldwide, I just wish he'd mentioned how much - no e-mail response from him and if I miss the payment deadline then bollocks to him, and to eBay.

And Farrow - cheese toasties are good, no denying it, but personally I find normal cheese on toast more satisfying and reliable. I fins that a cheese toastie can be overload sometimes.

the make of the two PSUs are different. secondly the one on ebay has a power of 200w, and the one from the link has a power of 250w. but they both state they can be fitted into a micro atx case. might wanna check the power though, 200w is tiny, especially if you want to fit a nex generation graphics card. might've considered going for a 300w PSU (not sure if there are any that fit micro atx though).

as for postage and packing, it's expensive. i reckon it'll cost you over a tenner. then you'll want to insure it etc, so it'll end up costing around £20 at the most.

personally i dont like cheese on toast.i find that the cheese tastes different, and not as nice as it should be. toasties on the other hand :naughty: i love em. when you take the first bite, and all the cheese squirts out. pluss, you can be creative with toasties. you can put onions and things in. i know my friend puts tuna and tomato puree in them. :P. they taste great too.

Well, I got in touch with Soltek and apparently it's fine with the configuration I want to run, so meh.
And yeah I know the other one's 250 and that might be better, but at the moment it's sort of a cost thing. Even if it costs 20-odd quid to ship, it'll still work out cheaper than buying the one from kustom pc because the bid closed at £2.71 - not too bad, really. But if that f*cks up I'll have to go for the kustom... one. Could be worse. But cheers Dedalus - always a big help and a good post :)
Crushenator - I see where you're going but I shall stand by cheese on toast to the bitter end - you can make a sort-of-toastie in a grill anyway. It's all good.

I used to make pizza-on-toast with tomato puree, cheese (mozzarella) and herbs on top.... seriously nice stuff. Toasties are good too but you have to wait for them to cool down, otherwise u blister ur mouth up really bad...

...waiting is bad, toast is good.

I don't really like chesse, only in some dishes.

I really ought to stop adding cheese on toast into my thread titles - any cries for help are lost under a veritable landslide of molten cheese and glorious glorious toast.
My stomach's rumbling. Feed me, for I am mighty.
