Hehe, just bought The OC season 1 DVD box, really good serie :>
anyone has an idea of when season 2 will be out on dvd ?

It will be released August 8th 2005.

Probably sometime in the fall.

I've really lost interest in the OC this season. The first was good, very fresh, and really interesting. But season two is just more of the same, only more unnecessarily-epic.

I was interested in a few episodes, but then I stopped watching. Pretty good show.

I agree. Second season was pretty much the same situations and predictable outcomes. Hope the next season is better though

No spoilers i love the OC, double episode on in the morning, can't wait.

Oh and Garfield, i know why you watch it, its the same reason we all do! Fit Girls, girls in bikinis, lesbian couples, right up your alley. Californiaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

I use to like the first eps, but when it started getting popular, it became to cheesy.

Stick with it in season two, it gets awesome in the last 4 or so episodes :D But yeah, season one was better.

The O.C.

Hmm... OC is for orange county right, in CA?

I just find it funny, the way they name it 'the O.C.'

Reminds me of gangsters... "This is tha hood nigga!"

But instead its a bunch of white people, and the name The O.C. tries to make orange county hip, happening... stylin' yo! This is the O.C., and when ya be cruising down these streets, you be gangsta yo!

Thats the impression I get from it anyways. Why the hell didn't they just call it Orange County. Geez.

T.I. Moves Into Hollywood With A Guest Role On 'The O.C.'
By Jay Casteel
Monday - March 21, 2005

Looks like T.I. is moving into Hollywood, as the rapper headed to Miami on Tuesday (March 15) to film a guest role on the hot TV show, "The O.C."

But as far as using acting skills, the self-proclaimed King of the South didn't really use them because he played himself, as he performed "Bring Em Out" in a concert scene during the show, according to MTV News.

"It's a re-enactment of spring break," T.I. told MTV on the set. "It's a pool-party vibe and I perform at the pool party. It's a lot of extras in bikinis sitting around the pool, a lot of exotic women, the beach, rich white cats kicking it. Everybody's real cool. Everybody was showing love."

According to MTV, the episode is scheduled to air at the end of April or beginning of May.

Even though the Atlanta native doesn't watch much TV due to his hectic schedule, he is planning on expanding his acting career, with this little guest role as the beginning.

"It's a little bit at a time," he told MTV. "We got a few movies in development right now. The guy who wrote 'Shottas,' he wrote a movie called 'Grand Hustle' for [me and my crew, the Pimp Squad Clique]. We're trying to work on 'Shottas 2' as well. We got a movie idea we're working on with the guy who did 'Blue Hill Avenue.' He's hot. And we're working on a movie idea just about our life.' "

T.I.'s next single is set to be "ASAP," according to MTV. Currently, the rapper is touring with Fat Joe and Nelly on the Sweat/Suit: Up Close and Personal Tour, while he continues working on the Pimp Squad Clique's debut group album.

Sorry... I don't really mean to run into this thread making fun of what you guys watch. Its merely the title and the whole 'white boy gangster wannabe' vibe it gives me. The show might be good, I wouldn't know. I skip it when it comes on.

Where is this 'white boy gangster wannabe' vibe coming from?!

Yeah 100% true. But another reason is because i LOVE the US :>

It's basically a soap opera that's on during the night with a tad bit better actors that aren't "adults" It's an alright show but there's so much drama, if I lived in the OC and shit like what happens in the show happened to me all the time then I'd be moving the **** away.

well, I don't like it, because I can't follow it. Everyone is married with their sisters and poo, hard to keep up.

But let me put it this way: At least it isent One Tree Hill.

Oh come on guys... Its simply the way they chose to name the show... "The O.C." Nobody would normally call it The Orange County. They call it Orange County. Trust me, I lived in CA around orange county, and its just called orange county. Not O.C. Not The O.C.

The whole naming scheme to me just sounds like a big hip hop styled theme to draw people in, and it probably is. I'm just surprised they didn't slap down Mcdonald's "I'm lovin' it"

The OC will make you gay... it made me gay, especially for Seth's rival... can't remember his name offhand, but he was everything you'd ever want in a guy

I thought the only man able to turn men gay was Brad Pitt?

The OC in no way represents the actual state and social lives of teenager in the US. Over the top drama and at least ten times more exciting than a normal teen's life or so the commercials give the impression of.

Especially not HL2 nerds. Especially ****ing not. lol@Garfield.

According to Wikipedia:

The show is called "The O.C.", and not "Orange County" as originally planned, because a movie of that name was released shortly before the show premiered.

HAHA!!! Nobody would want to see a show about the REAL OC. Cause then they'd also have to watch all the poor people's drama from Anaheim and Santa Ana. And the "Crazy Right Wing Politics" of people from Irvine, and Costa Mesa. And the plain boring lives of everyone else (especially up here in teh La Habra). Although it would be cool if they made a show about all the good OC surf spots... well that would just be Trestles and Salt Creek I guess.

cerritos is also nice^^ garfield you really wanna move to the US I guess..
