A lot of people now talk about wat then remember when they grew up in the 90's. People talk about thier favorite shows like doug, ren and stimpy, boy meets world, ahh real monsters, etc. And everbody had yo-yo's and poke'mon was cool. Gigi-pet, slap bracelets, and everything was da bomb. Everybody collected beanie babies or pogs. .

I heard that the guy from Boy Meets World Died. How sad is that. Why would ppl lie about that?

There was emo back in the 90's, but back then we usually just called them dorks or morons. :P They have just changed stylists. Back then they were the ones wearing the pants with legs that were like 3 ft wide and heaven forbid them wearing a pair where the bottom of the leg wasn't shredded up. But they message has always been clear, "me and all my friends that hang out at starbucks are soo misunderstood."

That's only because public education in the US really sucks now. So they are probably right, that everyone is misunderstood. :D

Ah, the 1990s. We had brutal war in the Bulkans, the some of the most severe IRA bombing in the whole of the troubles, Tony Blair, the ban on hand guns in the UK, the "assault weapons" ban in the US, the Gulf war and so many other wonderful things! Damn that was a great decade! Well, at least the games were good.

Whenever you think about how this generation is growing up, or even what future generations will grow up on, their shows and technology and fads, it's always comforting to know you can go back and reminesce on your own generation. It's funny to think that one day we'll all be the old men and women who tell our children and grandchildren, "Back in my day..." as they roll their eyes.

What's also funny is I kinda already feel that way about people who grew up in the 90s, myself having grown up in--and never having left--the 80s.
