Bah. Kids these days don't know the meaning of the word 'work'. When I were a lad I had to walk fifteen miles to svholl. Barefoot. In the snow. Then again, I cant believe kids this age wouldnt understand tetris.
uphill both ways, carrying my little sister (until I dropped her and she got eaten by wolves) as my dad says it...

Tim: Mario dies way too easy. Oh, grab the umbrella. Those are cool. Unfashionable, gay, but cool. Oh, 300 points. That's it? All you get is points? That's lame. Can't you do something with the umbrella?

Tim: They just put totally random stuff here for points. Oh, you've got an umbrella. You've got a purse.

haha that was the greatest, but that would be something I would say, not little kids... I've earned the right to make fun of them, =O. I'm serious though kids these days are full of horsecrap, I babysat 3 of them and they would cuss and they are like in elementary school, I would never dream of doing that I'd have my ass handed to me on a plate... sigh

And I have to agree with everyone here that kids are very insolent today. My friend is a hockey referee for a house league of 8 year old kids, and he's been called things such as "a gay fag", and "a *ucking *sshole" just to name a few. And I won't even get into what the parents say (keeping in mind this is the lowest level of hockey). Kids have no fear of authority, since their parents or their teachers won't properly discipline children, which gives them no sense of authority.

And on the article, I am only 16, and I would love to play those old games just to see what they were like, and because some of them were fun (especially SMB and Tetris). Also, the dumbass comparing GTA3 to Space Invaders deserves a nice slap in the head. Comparing those two games is like comparing a horse drawn carridge to a car. Both methods of transportation were very popular, and performed their tasks very well, but one is clearly better than the other for obvious reasons.

I still have respect for old games. I played when I was their age. Yeah, I'm serious.

Who the hell dies in a fire? How fast does the flame move anyway? Every time I burn my brother's toys, it takes an eternity for the flames to spread. A common house fire spreads about half a mile per hour. Oh no, a fire? Jump through the flames you pussy
ROFL!!!

but one is clearly better than the other for obvious reasons
Yeah, it is obvious.
The horse is better because it doesn't destroy the o-zone, melt the ice caps, break the flow of the Gulf Stream in the Atlantic, and bring on the next Ice Age for eastern North America and Western Europe... maybe more.

Oh... wait... you mean the car is better?

2 Ti-83's, link cable, and a calculator tetris MP game. That's how I survived Calculas in high school.

Play doom on your calculator during math class, teacher will think your doing equations, I love that trick.

To tell you the truth, I never really played Mario games. I did play ET once on my cousin's Atari, but I don't remember it too well. Space Invaders, Tetris and Pong all own. I could play them all day. They should've included PacMan though. Those games were already a bit old when I was a kid. The first game I remember playing was Lemmings. But my favorite game to this day is Commander Keen. That game is so awesome, iD should make Keen 7 when they're finished with DoomIII.
