Has anyone seen it yet? I thought it was freakin awesome!

I made this as a non-spoiler thread. Post spoilers in the other Kill Bill Thread.

Yeah, I'd quite like to know other people's views about this without seeing spoilers too.

is coming to teaters?
cuz I heard it will be in theaters in february of this year
but how it dont apear I think that maybe will not come to teaters

but well here in my country the movies last much to come

I thought it was good especially the part when... no spoilers eh? ......... did I mention I thought it was good? ............. Oh yeah and there are some parts like in Pulp fiction where the action stops and they start telling some long-ass story (It's not called a quarter-pounder with cheese....) that takes forever to get to the point before the action starts up again are back. I think it's a good thing though.

I don't think these "no-spoilers simply discuss" threads are gonna catch on.

I'm a HUGE QT fan, so I may be biased. In my opinion Kill Bill as a whole is QT's best movie. Yes, better than Pulp Fiction. But both parts need to be watched. Vol.2 would suck without Vol.1, and Vol.1 would suck without Vol.2. In Vol.1 there really wasn't much character development, which is QT's strongest point IMO, but in Vol.2 we get so much of it that I really didn't want to see anyone get killed (minus one person). I knew when the end of the movie was coming, but I really felt like I could sit there and watch hours more of it. I know that the term "Instant Classic" is so cliched that it's not funny, but that is what I was thinking all the way through this movie. There were so many laugh out loud moments. You'd be laughing your ass off and then go straight into a very emotionally intense scene. I know that many people will blow the movies off as trash, but just as Kill Bill is QT's tribute to some of his favorite directors, someday people that aren't even born yet will be paying tribute to him and this movie. I very much reccomend going in with an open mind, because this isn't a mainstream film. QT is an indie director that gets more and more money for each picture he does, and then he gets to put his indie film out in major theaters. I'm just rambling now...... Go see the movie but ONLY if you've seen Vol.1. :)

I was going to see it today, but plans changed, going to see it tomarrow!

owned, but please keep in mind the movie was never meant to be two movies its 1 that was unfortunatley devided.....anyways vol 2 OWNED and I bought 1 today on DVD and got a giant poster from sam goody... man those movies kick ass il buy the second on DVD as well ....... all I can say is its a GREAT movie with a great ending and it's really funny as well with a certain new chars.

thats all i can say without spoilers

I thought there was three volumes?

There are rumors circulating that Kill Bill Volume 3 is going to be released..
Many sources say months..
Other say years..
Others say 10 years..
I don't know, but it seems like there will be a Kill Bill Volume 3... my brother told me it takes place when Vernita's daughter, Nikki, grows up and seeks revenge..
Oh I just found an article.. http://msnbc.msn.com/id/4702834/

um you just posted a spoiler... sort of.

EDIT: when does it come out in the UK?

Oh JEEZ.. the fact that I said what was stated in the article or what? Besides.. 10 years off.. you'll forget it :P

I thought there would be a prequel to Kill Bill volume 1 after volume 2? Where did I pick that up?

Anyway, I still have to see 2, but it's not in theaters here yet.

I'm sure I heard Uma Therman or Quentin mention something of the sort.

I think it was Quentin and he said that Volume 1 was out (or due to be released), they're finishing the production of Volume 2 and he's started writing Volume 3.

That was a while ago and I think it was on Tonight With Jonathan Ross on BBC1 England

I watched that show but I can't remember him saying that... on the other hand maybe I can... I can remember some crap about QT's affection for Simon Caroll and how Uma supposedly wrote the Kill Bill script... oh FFS it's Jonathan Ross how the hell are you supposed to gleam anything usefull from that. I mean come on, his house band is called 4 puffs and a piano, plus he spends half the show talking about his poor children.

I really like the two films as a whole, but I have some issues with the pacing. I feel like part I was a little too heavy on action, and too light on plot, whereas part II was too light on action and a little too heavy on plot. The films would have been a bit better had they been a little more balanced methinks.

Actually, I think most of the characterization and plotting should have been taken care of in the first movie with a big action payoff in the second. You know, make it so the audience really understands and cares about the insane swordplay stuff. It just seems like QT sort of got lost in the cutting room when he realized he had two movies on his hands.

They're still both top notch in my book though.
