Killing Floor Free Weekend

Ooo, count me in, Killing Floor interested me as well, but never enough to buy it...

My roomie got it, says it was a pretty shitty game.

It's pretty mediocre.
Hardly any challenge to it even on the hardest difficulty.

Oh I'll definitely do this. I love short burst of free fun. I'm also aware from being told by informed associates of mine that:

A) It's the kind of game that might seem really fun and appealing after only 2 days of playing

and

B) If you manage to make it to two days it gets pretty repetitive and you realize it's pretty shit.

Killing Floor is a blast if you manage to team up with a few people that actually follow the concept better known as "Teamwork". However, as it currently stands, such players seem to be far & in-between. 99.9% of the players you will find in-game, act as though they are 13 to 17 year old males, who think they are totally cool because they can kick virtual zombies ass & as such, like nothing more than to flex their self-same virtual manhood, all the while in their squeeky pre-adolescent voices....

I was given the game as a gift for my Birthday earlier this year & played the hell out of it, maxing my healer out @ level 5 within I think 9 days. But like with any game, if you play it over & over & over & over... It tends to get old. As more & more custom maps get released, the interest factor once again begins to climb & the recent free content, in the form of a Katana, AK-47 & Map, also didn't hurt the enjoyment factor.

The game is fun & IMO, work trying.

Woo, been waiting to try this. One of those games I'd have picked up ages ago if I wasn't a broke college student.

Of course this happens the weekend I don't have a computer :\

I hate it when you pre-load and then at release there is a 4 hour patch to download.

I'll give it a shot - downloading now (although it says 3 days left to download D:) Anyway, I'm down for hooking up with some of you to take a run through this weekend if anyone else is interested.

good thing I let this one pass. I've got a lot of games to catch up on anyway

I played one round, and it was shit.

I played three rounds, and it was enjoyable.

I played eight rounds, and it was boring.

I forgot about the free weekend today.

Honestly, the only fun thing about this so far is blocking the trader door so people can't buy shit. Otherwise, its just a shooting arena.

This is hard to get through, very similar to the obvious game but not as in-depth, i like some of the story aspects that try to set it apart from zombie games, pretty good hectic

Played it for a couple of hours before getting bored. Was disappointing.

I've had the game since it came out. I have barely played it ever since then. It's too frantic for me. Not to mention that the maps are pitch ****ing black. I Am shooting at air half of the time. It's not a bad game in terms of gameplay but the map designs are horrible.

I like it. Great game to play with friends. Speaking of friends one of mine bought it so I'm thinking about it. By the end I had my Sharpshooter up to lvl 4 and Demolitions up to 3.

Yeah, it was fun. I wonder if they are gonna do more free weekends like UT3 or TF2.
