if so PLEASE show them this video I made:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_P__Zkk1HVk

and tell them to look at the links I posted in the description.

ESPECIALLY show this to supporters of Hillary Clinton. If she loses Indiana and North Carolina, she'll probably be forced to quit. We need to get this over with now!

I live in NC, but I'm voting for Obama.

I'm seeing him in person in a few hours too :D

LUCKY! I saw him when he came to my town :D
But since you're in NC you must must must pass this video on! You've gotta at least know a couple Hillary supporters. If not, pass it on to Obama suppoorters and tell them to pass it on. It'll eventually make it to some Hillary supporters.

I'm too young to vote but I'd like to know I still made a difference. Help me make this difference!

Why would we help you elect someone we despise?

Go Awai

I'm for Obama, but Bill Clinton is coming to my university in a few hours. I haven't decided if I'll go, on the one hand I'm no fan of Clinton and already voted for Obama, but on the other hand how often do you get the chance to see Bill Clinton in person?

I'm not for anyone, they all suck, I'm not voting.

and I'm not going to vote AGAINST someone- I think that's ****ing stupid.

You despise Obama? I don't think Bush is running for another term so who else do you support?

BTW: I never in a 1000 years would have thought that I would accuse Solaris of being a Bush supporter, but there ya go.

Obama will only win North Carolina because of its stubborn, short-sighted negro community.

I thought the OP was pro hilary. My mistake.

I am supporting Obama, although reluctantly with regards to Iraq and Afganistan.

oh. I should have made it a bit more clear that I'm NOT pro-Hillary and in fact quite the opposite.

watch my video though :)

you're an idiot.

It's quite clear that they are interested in electing a black president first instead of one that's actually qualified for the job.

Perhaps you should try seeing past your chauvinistic, irrational hatred for one of the few great women we have in politics.

lol Absinthe you are a god.

The Obama rally was great, about 10,000-15,000 people there and Obama is really the shit, great public speaker and he almost gave me chills at some points.

Man I am jealous you got to see him. When I went to class the line to see Bill started, and by the time I got out, it must have been >1,000 which is the capacity of the building. I would have skipped class and gotten there much earlier to see Obama though.

I really hate calling you out on this every time you bring it up but will you ever actually try to defend your pro-war statements instead of just running off when someone calls you on it?

I stand in solidarity with those who wish to be free.

The coallition invasion otherthrew a brutal dictatorship, totalitarianism and genocide should never be tolerated or allowed to go unpunished. We have liberated the Iraq people from a tyrant, who, to our shame we have helped in the past. We owed it to them as social democrats, to right the wrongs that previous adminstrations had commited when it put strategic alliances and oil deals before human rights.

I am no friend of American foriegn policy nor any neo conservatives. I remain resolutely a socialist but I stand side by side with Iraq's member party of the Socialist International, The Patriotic Union of Kurdistan, who support the coallition in Iraq. The duty of the left is to stand against facism, where ever it rears its' ugly head. Iraqi socialists appealed to us to help them and we did.

Kurdistan is a model for the rest of Iraq, it is a stable democratic part of Iraq with very limited violence. To withdraw and leave these people - who have for too long been the subject of genocidal attacks and bigotry - would be unforgivable.

Not all of Iraq is a shambles and Kurdistan is leading the way forward and we must support it as much as possible.

I guess you're joking?.

I really can't tell.

So if a poll was done where the majority of people said they didn't want to be free you would be against this invasion?

A poll such as this one:

http://www.usatoday.com/news/world/iraq/2007-03-19-iraq-poll-day2_N.htm

When it comes to the best form of government for Iraq now, a majority of Kurds support a democracy and a majority of Sunni Arabs support a strongman who would rule for life. Shiites split between a democracy and an Islamic state ruled by religious principles.

Your entire premise that this is about democracy is wrong. First, democracy in Iraq is impossible to acheive at this time. As the poll shows above the people do not want democracy, how in the hell are you going to force them to adapt to democracy because you say that's what's good for them? How are you going to bring a country together to form a democracy when that country consists of 2 groups that absolutely hate eachother, to the point where some of them are willing to kill for that hate?

Come on Solaris, you are smarter than this. You can't possibly be falling for this democracy pipe dream that not even this administration believed.

I still can't be silent and let Kurdistan be thrown to the Islamo-facsist wolves.

Perhaps there is a case for abandoning the rest of Iraq if truly so many do not want democracy, but it would be a sobring moment indeed with the inevitable genocide that would follow.

I just can't support giving into these people but the future does indeed look bleak for most of Iraq.

Well, while you sit here comfortable pondering "giving in to these people" innocent people are still dying. So you might want to speed up your thinking process. I don't know how you could define what is happening today as anything but genocide.

The kurds have a safe haven just north of Iraq in Kuwait. Personally I would have supported splitting the country in 3 when it was first proposed by Joe Biden a couple years back but it's too late for that. I just find it kind of odd that you are willing to do all this killing for the kurds, I don't suppose the pkk has anything to do with your support? And your "islamic facist wolves" term is interesting considering that even in Kuwait everything is ran under Islamic law.

And again, this invasion had nothing to do with bringing democracy. You do agree with that, right? So why do you still support this invasion?

Innocent people are dying. They are being murdered by the Islamist militias and Al-Queada that you would take power after we left. The terrors they commit now would be nothing in comparrison to what they could do if the coallition pulled out.

A part of me wishes we had just funded and supplied the PKK with all they needed but I don't know too much about them. My understanding is Kuwait is not in Kurdistan it is rather a country on it's own??

I don't agree with that. I think that's why Blair supported it, it's why I support it and whether the primary motive or not, it justifies it.

FYI, Obama will lose against McCain, if he gets his parties nomination.

Obama:
- Secret Muslim
- Uppity Negro
- Wants G-D to damn America
- Wants to cut and run from Iraq
- Wants to raise your taxes
- No experience
- Supported by yuppy white people

McCain:
- POW
- Served in the military
- Killed gooks
- Wont cut and run
- Wont raise taxes
- CHRISTIAN
- President Bush endorsed him
- Tons of experience

Irksome is an idiot. Please, no one judge Americans by Irksome's example.

One day, we will discover a cure for idiocy that will cleanse our species of morons. Enjoy what time you have left.

The point is that not all of us are pathetic. Just an uncomfortably large percentage of us are.

Actually, I've done cocaine. **** off :)

Hell, if this is a competition I'll take being an idiot over a drug addicted teenager any day.

Also OP, making a shitty YouTube video doesn't count as political activism. Get out and actually do something, picket a Hillary rally, send angry letters, be old enough to vote.

Because we are doing such a bang up job controlling the killing now? We have no effect on how many people die in that country wether we are in there or not. The only area we control is the green zone, and that's turning to shit now too.

If we leave a civil war will be fought. This will have to happen eventually anyway. If you stay there another 20 years this simple fact won't change, the question is how many more people are you willing to allow to die before you acknowledge that fact.

A part of me wishes we had just funded and supplied the PKK with all they needed but I don't know too much about them. My understanding is Kuwait is not in Kurdistan it is rather a country on it's own??
So you think you support the PKK. Why, because they believe in a socialist ideology? Go read about their Islamic ideology or their killing of innocent civillians and see if you still think you support them.

I don't know why I used the word Kuwait, as you said I meant Kurdistan. I need to reread a lot of what I post before I post it but usually Im in a rush when I write these posts. Like I said, I would have supported giving the kurds their own country in northern Iraq. I just think it might be too late for that. They live in a very stable region right now because they are not fighting the sunnis or the shias. If we pulled out the biggest danger they would face would be Turkey from what I understand. And I'm sure as hell not willing to keep this conflict going longer so the PKK can have their "democracy" which will end up being controlled under islamic law anyway, just like Kuwait is.

I don't agree with that. I think that's why Blair supported it, it's why I support it and whether the primary motive or not, it justifies it.
That's why blair supported it? Then why in the hell was he fixing intelligence to support their policy? Why not just come out and say he wanted this war to bring democracy, why lie?

And again, if all the people in charge of this policy of invading Iraq knew what would happen how can you possibly try to say they wanted democracy? If they knew that the sunnis and shias would never get along (they did know this) they knew what kind of bloodshed this would cause. Again, it had nothing to do with democracy.
