know anyone famous?

I had lunch with Michael Jordan on the 3rd floor of his restaraunt back in 1999 thanks to the Starlight Foundation. He's a great bloke. Really modest and fun. Got him to flip his eye-lids.

I win this thread.

The whole of Linkin Park at their live in texas performance. They SPOKE to me. TO ME!

My cousin used to stay in the same house as Wolfmother.

Oh and her ex-boyfriend's swimming pool is the pool they use in Neighbours.

I've met Alan Tudyk and Summer Glau(Wash and River in Firefly) at a convention at the mall over here.
They were pretty friendly, I managed to get a 7 or so minute conversation out of them.

That's it really.

omgs.

and highlander, maynard? you beast.

And you didn't kill yourself. Amazing. :D

I met Ron Jermey years ago in a club. Pretty cool cat, or it could've just been all the drugs he was on. :|

I friend of mine is a humongeous fan of the White Stripes. She was insanely determined to meet the band after we went to their concert, so we stayed behind for nearly two hours after everyone else had left.
Surprisingly, it worked and Jack White came out and gave us free stuff.

I'm not much of a celebrity gawker though, so I don't much see the insanity factor behind the whole thing. They're just people, these celebrity folk.

Sarah Michelle Gellar used to be my girlfriend, but I dumped her after she proposed :\. I just didn't think it was going anywhere.

Some of my teachers in Uni are kinda famous.. depends if you're into those stuff I suppose. My game design teacher was lead designer on Battlefield 1942, one of my graphic teachers did the special effects and 3d scenes in the Swedish movie Storm (along with some students), another one made all music videos for The Knife. I know loads of people from Lockpick Entertainment and Colossai Studios but I wouldn't say they're "famous"... yet. We'll see.

That's from the top of my head.

Tom Petty and Jeff Lynne. Back when they were together, my mom was best friends with Jeff's wife, and the two of them sung me lullabies (I was less than a year old at the time)

I met jimmy carter at my family reunion.

...he wasn't very nice.

Nobody famous around my parts. Closest I can think of is that I sat beside a dude in high school Physics class that ended up becoming a serial killer. If you can call that famous.

My wife's cousin was drafted by the Leafs so I guess maybe someday he'll be famous. Who knows there's lots of guys who get drafted that never make it.

respect.

I know people who know famous people.

My friend is buddies with green day, and tons of other local bands.

My mom once had a boyfriend who was friends with metallica.

My cousin was the drummer in Creedence Clearwater Revival (bad moon rising, anybody?)

My dad is a somewhat famous technical author.

Oh, and he also knows lots of dudes at pixar.

My dad has the same name as Kevin Bacon (the guy from Tremors 1 and Hollow Man) and I've never met him D:. I don't care about people knowing my last name because just in my city alone there is a whole page in the phone book with people with that last name...

I've met The Rock, Triple H, and that one girl wrestler in the WWF. There was an opening of a wrestling ride near my house, so I went an met them. And NO I do not watch/like wrestling. This was back in 2000 or something like that.

I'm ashamed to say this, but I've met Paris Hilton at an opening of a hotel near my house too...
