WOOHOO! I hope your police shows them whos boss.

If you live in New York, its best to prepare:

#1. In Korean protesting, it is quite normal to beat police up with iron pipes.

#2 It is also very common to burn riot police with gasoline bombs.

#3 They will most likely try to drag a police officer and stomp on his face.

#4 If you beat them up, they'll most likely spread the news that America is a evil totalitarian state filled with nazis.

#5. Flamethrowers are not that uncommon.

#6. Beware of rocks. They normally throw 300 ~ 400 per session.

#7. Red Pepper powder. When it gets into your eyes, you won't be able to see for 3 days.

#8. If you see them, run. A soldier who was caught was beaten up so bad that he was in the ICU for 3 months.

#9. It is considered normal to set themselves on fire.

#10. All Koreans have a natural resistance to tear gas or even sarin. I am not kidding.

So, just shoot those commie bastards up. :)

The news is now filled with headlines and stories of how the riot police are beaten up, and sent to intensive care by left-wing protesters despite their(riot police) use of non-violence.

Free trade association. They're also protesting against globalization.

I think you're mixing up demonstrators with riot police.

QFT. If I was there I'd join them.

Here in Korea, Protesters overpower the Riot Police. It is a phenomenon. We have about a hundred laws regarding anti-communism and national security, but we can't 'desolve' violent protesting that happen every few days.

<3 blind nationalism

basically all you're saying is trash talk. Ok we get it already

WTF? Why is this nationalism?

What have I said that makes me look ethno-centric in any way?

I have just told you about (extremely) violent protesters going to the US to protest against the FTA and neo-libertarianism in general.

Thats good.

Oh yeah. The newspapers are filled with stories about EVIL PROTESTERS AGAINST THE PEACE beating up battle police, and how the Battle Police tries to use non-violence, but is sent to ICUs by protesters.

Numbers, it's hard to tell when you're being serious.

Oh..... :( Let me say that again

From where do you get this information that the protesters are more violent. The Government? You must learn to think for yourself, numbers, to be able to look through your government's bullshit.

The free press. I myself have actually seen a protest, in which they beat up police with iron pipes.

Don't you think those unfair and anti expression of political freedom laws have made them violant. Besides the only violance I have ever seen on TV was of Police brutality against protestors. The reason why you're media might be filled with so much negatieve comments on the protestors is because it is largly controlled by the government.

Protests against liberalisation of services and agriculture, and against repression on workers have been taking place in Korea almost everyday during the last week. Number of injuries are accumulating as riot police continue to brutally suppress demonstrations.
Not a great source but a different point of view alright.

That is biased. And the guy deserved what he got. If you had seen what they did to the soldiers at Pyeongtak, you'd agree with me.

You want to ****ing see the police that were burt to their bones? Want to see the broken skulls of them?

Can you not see the blatant violence against the public peace?

Can you not see the obivious communist and left-wing powers behind those protests?

So whats the point?
Left wing ness isn't some evil thing. It's good.

Nothing thats happened in the past can justify hitting a peaceful protestor in the face like that. It could have killed him.

Except for the fact that not all of them would necessarily be so crude. You hit one guy who bashes a guy in the face for no reason, then a riot starts, and your people start stomping on the faces of other innocent riot officers trying to do their job.

I don't understand what they're rioting about.
But if it's a just cause, then I support them.
If the police are siding with the forces of evil then they deserve what they get. Thats an if though.

Why don't the police have weapons? I'm thinking if that ever happened in Boston, where they had pipes and molotovs, they would be shot to hell.

You're kidding, right? Just because the people have a job, that means they deserve to get brutally hurt even if they're innocent of police brutality?

You can't shoot them. You can't do anything except just hold your shield and stand there.

I'm in student moderation, I once watched a protest at extreme close range. It was a battlefield.

Nope. Heres an example:

Say it was an anti-war demo, the protestors are being peaceful, and are attacked by the police. Any police man who after seeing a group of Protestors trying to save innocent Iraqi lives attacked and beaten by police who doesn't stand down is fair game for a beating.

You're crazy dude. Why protest against unlawful violence if you advocate it in other areas of life?

Its disgusting to support the violent beating of ANY person who didn't do something to deserve it.

There's a reason people protest. If it gets violent, that usually means the protestors are pissed about something. They aren't just protesting to make other people's lives harder. Obviously, you're government is doing something they don't approve of.

I feel for the riot police too. Most of them are doing their jobs. They just wanna go home at the end of the day.

The protestors need to be more peaceful and nonviolent, "Hmm, I dislike the things my government's doing. LET'S THROW GASOLINE BOMBS AT THEM," rather they should be more like "Hmm, I dislike the things my government's doing, lemme protest about my feelings and cause without resorting to violence." And the police need to use right judgement in whether "Hmm, this guy is burning a flag. SMASH HIM IN THE FACE" or "Hmm, they aren't hurting anyone. Let's just make sure they don't turn violent."

I wish those days would come back..........

All they're all Unions and left-wing. The Democratic Labor Party's behind this, but nobody can touch them, because of 'democracy'.

If democracy = gasoline bombs, I'd much prefer a totalitarian state.

Oh. ;(

But the words underneath have to count for something, right?

You know deep down you want to petrol bomb your local town hall.
Don't hide it any longer.

Bombing a town hall will not solve anything. If anything, decisions made in the town hall make living conditions and life in a town better.

The system cannot change itself.

By stopping protestors stopping a war you do deserve it.
