Krynns got an xbox, so now hes making another damn "wut gamez shud I get" thread.

and Darkside, in case you havent gotten it yet, heres how the game progression for Gears 2 goes
Still haven't played it. I've got a PS3, not a 360, so the only times I can play it are over at friends' houses, and to my knowledge neither of my friends who have a 360 have GoW2. I still want to play it even if it is brumak overload.

Also since this thread's revived--Krynn, get Street Fighter IV or I'll punch you. Everybody needs to buy Street Fighter IV. The more sales Street Fighter gets, the more chance one day Capcom will make Darkstalkers 4, so buy that shit.

I found that the mechanics of skate 2 basically sucked the fun-soul out of the game. Realism be damned, I want to be able to do some tricks.

Fable 2 was pretty good except for the absence of armour (like wtf?) which I think they're implementingnow, so I might have another go. (Also the very very ending is terrible)

GoW2 was really surprisingly good. It took everything that was good from the first one and threw in some fantastic features.

Mirror's Edge was pretty fun.

COD 4 if you don't already have it, not COD 5. The only part of 5 I enjoyed was when I found out I could bayonet people, the rest of the game was fantastically mediocre.

I dont know what you are talking about Skate 2 having the fun sucked out of it. It had the game modes meant to be crazy fun (like Hall of Meat and Deathrace), and others for those who actually want some satisfaction for pulling off nice looking realistic tricks (Own the Spot, S.K.A.T.E., Pro Challenges).

If you ask me it is totally worth getting, as long as you have the patience to pull off some of the harder missions.
