"Kung Fu" and "Kill Bill" star David Carradine was found hung himself in a closet in a hotel room in Bangkok on Wednesday, Thai police said.

Police believed he committed suicide.

It was a hotel's maid who opened his suite on Thursday at 10 am only to find Carradine in a closet. He was described as behind half naked.

Police investigation showed that he hung himself with a rope, the kind that is used with curtains.

In b4 Kill Bill jokes.

In all seriousness though, RIP

Damn, that sucks...

Why do you think he would kill himself? Was his life noticeably troubled?

I never watched Kill Bill. I just remember him from Kung Fu and more recently from History Channel show about the wild west.

I didn't think he was ill either mentally or phsyically which makes this seem really odd. Man, such sad news. He seemed so gentle and kind. ;(

I was trying to come up with some clever kung fu/asian tie in "kung fu star found by some yung man hung"

"kungfu star hung but not sammo hung"

"HE RAKKA DISCIPRINE"

I obviously failed

If Daryl Hannah, Michael Madsen, Lucy Liu and Vivica Fox are found dead too, brix will be shat.

Rest in peace, grasshopper.

Could be autoerotic asphyxiation if he wasn't having any issues with his wife etc. Like Michael Hutchence from INXS.

nobody ****ing came to the most logical explanation:

he secretly had sex with a young Thai boy when somebody found out, so he committed suicide.

either that or he was practicing the "hanging dragon" technique

Wow. Way to not let him die with dignity. Glad the family can rest easy knowing he died doing...that. Imagine that is how your dad died?? And the whole world knows it?? Talk about AWFUL.

oh come one...i'm just joking, he was a good actor (and maybe person too...didn't really knew him).

Apparently (talked about this on the radio today) the 'other parts of his body' was his penis.

GUYS

IF YOU ARE GOING TO DO STUFF LIKE THIS DO IT WITH SOMEONE SUPERVISING

IT IS PRETTY UNSAFE, OKAY

Hey joule. did you notice that his finger is in his butt one moment, then it's not the next, and then it is the next? lol

Anyway... still RIP Kung Fu Master :(

Seriously, what a way to go, he died for a better climax, we all should aspire to go out in such a way.

"There was a rope tied around his neck and another rope tied at his sex organ, and the two ropes were tied together and hung in the closet," Lieutenant General Worapong Siewpreecha said.

"Under these circumstances we cannot be sure that he committed suicide but he may have died from masturbation," he said.

oh ...ummm ......eww ...what a way to go

"Under these circumstances we cannot be sure that he committed suicide but he may have died from masturbation,"

That's what I want said when I die.

This is an early contender for the famous Darwin award anyway.

"There was a rope tied around his neck and another rope tied at his sex organ, and the two ropes were tied together and hung in the closet, additionally we found the deceased had shoved a corn cob in his rectum and was wearing a barbed cock ring" Lieutenant General Worapong Siewpreecha said.

"Under these circumstances we cannot be sure that he committed suicide but Mortiz-Redux may have died from masturbation," he said.

"Dude died doing what he loved: killing legions of potential usurpers with but a stroke of his hand."

from somewhere else.

Shit, an entire career in movies and all anyone's ever going to remember you by is that you died jacking off in a Hotel room...:|

Holy shit. I had to bump this.

I'm just a little shocked to be honest.

David Carradine hosts Wild West Tech on History Channel... and in the opening of this episode which is entitled 'Execution Tech', he's talking about the gallows... and walking around a noose.

I know it's just coincidence, but I'm surprised they decided to air this again so close after his death. I bet at least somebody saw the coincidence there when they decided to replay it again.

And now he's demonstrating how exactly to tie it and goes into gory details about the effects. I find it morbidly funny, and kind of sad at the same time.
