I've always hated American media. It always has a "I'm gonna scare the hell out of you so you HAVE to watch" factor of 10. 10 being the highest, 0 being Canadian media (we're slowly catching up unfortunately).

I do like parts of the American Media though. CNN is pretty good. It focuses more on World events and National events so they don't usually have segments designated to retarded stories like this. They don't have time for the "Lock up your daughters and murder your sons" segments.
