Lag/Stuttering On Bomb Site

Hey all,

I'm not sure if this is a local problem or something others have dealt with and haven't asked.

When I'm playing, CS:S runs perfectly. However, when I go to plant the bomb, my system slows down and stutters like crazy. I still manage to plant the bomb, but it's ssssssslllllllooooooooooowwwwwwwwww. Right after I slam the bomb on the ground, the game is back to regular speed. It's almost like slow-motion as I'm arming the bomb.

Any ideas?

Enable net_graph 3 in the console to see if your FPS are spiking at bomb plant time. Could be your video card is working overtime on that animation or bomb model.. although I have no idea why. Might need to tweak video settings a little bit.

mainly i'd say try fog_enable 0 and cl_smooth 0
