Lair (PS3) new screen

The dragon doesn't look all that slimy anymore, like he was drowned in oil.

Haha! Yeah, it always did look like they were coated in some sort of shimering slime and I am damn glad they got rid of that effect. Judging by this screenie, this game is looking better and better. Originally, I just wasn't that excited for it, but this definitely gets me more interested. Plus I have heard tell that its a launch title which would be mighty interesting. I only hope it turns out to be as good as they (and we) want it to be!

Hey, theres more to games than graphics...ever think of that?

And keep in mind, this is a first generation title; There will probably be a brief time somewhere in 2006-7 where the console games will look better than pc, but yeah, PCs advance too fast for a fixed platform to keep up for long.

That game sucks ass, You could just as easily tune up the graphics and port it to pc, then it's better, There isn't a console game that can't be put on PC, Most ports to PC from console are awesome, PC to console usually sucks, because consoles suck (Mostly, not all, there are some good things)

Ok Consoles and Pc's do not suck(You didn't say Pc but im not taking sides im a Pc person). Infact Consoles are designed to play games therefor they are going to be better at it.

So the console does not suck infact it's pretty powerfull, but the controllers suck from your standpoint. Now I don't see how better Katamari Damacy would be if you just put it on the pc....infact a joystick would allow for a little bit more relaxed playing for that game.

Of course with Pc's we can always plug in a Joystick\Gamepads and with wireless USB coming around we'll have wireless Gamepads\Joysticks and if the game don't support Joystick\Gamepad we got the program Joy2Key.

Heh, there have been many a debate over dragons in He- somewhere else. Anyway, that looks awesome to me- graphics are excellent, and the dragon looks cool as shit. Which is technically steaming hot, but who gives a damn?

For all I know, Factor 5 (the developers behind Lair) hasn’t said so much about the gameplay. Perhaps they’ll reveal something at E3 this year (which, btw, is only 6 weeks away ).

Well, from the hud, the previous trailer, and Factor 5's previous games(Rouge Squadron games) I'm guessing flight sim/shooter with extra close combat features.
