Lamarr panics. Wires are frayed. The satalite fires its emergency manueveuring jets and hurtles into the void of space, leaving Earth prostrate before future Combine portaling attempts.

Anyone else thinking about this?

The rocket did it's job at the end of EPisode 2 and is now useless, Lamarr is not at the satellite, just in the rocket. So I reckon we're safe for now.

Good point - I suppose this might be a setup for Lamarr appearing later in Ep3.

Oh I can see it now, in the last battle when all seems lost, suddenly a rocket comes from the sky and out comes Lamarr to save the day!

Just wanted to point out that you can see llamar on a background map when loading up the game.

After messing up the teleport attempt in HL2 doesn't Lamarr get TP'd away and kind of run off into the distance? Point being she's disappeared and come back before, still I wouldn't mind if Valve have jettisoned the joke into space never to return.
