Langauge Translation

Hi guys, got a massive problem here.
I got myself a Half Life 2 from Thailand while travelling, but when i bought it there nobody bothered to tell me how to convert the Thai words into English and so now i am still unable to install the game despite having it.
I am wondering if there is any program in the CD which would allow people to convert the Thai words in English during installation.And so i have a request for evryone of you looking at this msg now..Pls HELP me solve my problem.

Why did you buy it in Thailand in the first place?

Besides it was my understanding that HL2 used the same language as steam was set too...

Right, so all you need to do is find the settings button (could be tricky if you don't know thai), then chose the last fold-in to the right, and the language at the top of the list there. (or if the top one doesn't work, keep going down the list till you get lucky.)

I think that the setup for the CDs is probably started directly from the disks, rather than Steam, and therefore Steam would not translate it.

Looks like you have the Thailand CD, and I dunno HOW you would be able to translate it.

Install the game from CD, then try getting the Steam installer from www.steampowered.com, and installing it over the top of the Steam installation already on your computer, but in English.

Should do the trick.
