I have a LAN coming up and we will not have internet access because i had to rent a place for us. Currently, i don't see a way we can play CS without playing 1.5 only and we've all been playing 1.6 like crazy. and we really want to have a 1.6 tourney. To make a long story short:
Will steam get an update sometime to allow a LAN option? maybe give you a choice in the opening screen between log in and LAN? or perhaps once you register with steam, you download an authentication file unique to each email addy so you can log in AND create a LAN server. Just a thought, i know many people will be upset if its not possible to create a game without a net connection. especially is HL2 has co-op (i hope, i hope)
