Well it's time for me to start thinking about getting a laptop for college. I know right away that I would like to be able to play games comfortably but I don't need the highest settings. I would like to run upcoming games such as Crisis and Unreal 3. There are three laptops I am considering:
The new Macbook Pro which I can get for $1800 with an educational discount: http://store.apple.com/1-800-MY-APP...se&mco=3856D31F&node=home/macbook/macbook_pro
Asus G1S:

Asus C90S:

I'm leaning towards the C90S at the moment because the desktop cpu will give better performance and also makes it cheaper. From that configuration I could take a 7200prm 160gb hard drive and a Core 2 Duo E6600 and keep the cost cheaper than the other two. I don't think the battery life is very long but I think it should be okay for me.
I do like the Macbook but I don't like how upgrading later on would be rather limited, whereas the C90S is much better in this area. Any thoughts?
