Yup, I'll be playing HL 2 in my dorm room when it comes out. "dude, do you want to go to this kegger man? i heard it's like, all girls...they're all naked and shit." "no thanks dude, i'm playing computer games." ****.

so my only computer at college is a Dell Latitude D800 with a 1.5ghz pentium "M", 512 gb, 30 GB hard drive, and an nvidia GeForce FX Go5200 4XAGP w/ 32MB ram...now, I know you guys frown on "will my 486 run hl2???!!!111oneone" threads, but I know FarCry had some problems running on mobility video cards, and I don't know too much about this "M" processor either. any help would be greatly appreciated! thanks

ok its like this. i use a laptop for gaming as well.

my card is the Mobility Radeon 9700 128mb.

it kicks serious a$$. i reccomend u upgrade ur laptop as the GeForce GO series is really crap.

for laptops u HAVE to go ATI all the way baby..

and no, i dont have any problems running far cry. i play it at 1024 res. with all settings on high. i get fps average of 50
