Last Goodbye

Goodbye and Hello. Or something.
I'm off to uni on Tuesday (the 30th). So I'm leaving here. Besides, the delay threads and Valve-bashing's all too much for little me.
But I just wanted to say toodles kiddiwinks, because I'm not going to be around much as of tomorrow (I might say goodbye a-proper on Monday, not that any of you would care, you heartless souls)

I have to say that whilst this forum has its problems - such as stupid people in abundance - I've grown quite fond of it. There are some genuinely good people posting on these boards and a very committed Moderating team. For making things more fun on these boards, I'd like to say huzzah and thank you to:
ComradeBadger & Farrow (good people and good mods); Feath & Whitey (not linked necessarily, but both good and interesting people); Abom; dawdler; nw909 (somewhat surprisingly); Star Monkey (for allowing me to shed my _ ); LoneDeranger, Steelwind, bastard_loud, Dmitri, Direwolf and everyone else who helped me understand the US medical and immigration systems; thenerdguy (some interesting bludgeoning back in The Arena...); Spitcodfry (and not just for visiting Valve); oldi1knoby (for providing much amusement in your denial. You fruitcake.); N0N1337H41 (for being one of the more sensible and intelligent people here); Munro seeing as you're overlord and all (although curse you for closing the original WAF)
There are probably more I ought to mention and probably if ANY of y'all look at this, you won't give a flying f*ck but I just thought the gesture of thanks and appreciation might be nice.

I could mention people I dislike and whom I think very low of, but I won't. I'll go out with a little dignity. Or at least try.

I've reached Combine status which is quite depressing an so if anyone wants it they can have it (so long as they spot the 2 linked musical references in this post) Am I allowed to bequeath it? Does anyone care? Probably not.

Anyway, it's been enjoyable and somewhat addictive. It's been turbulent and intolerable. It's a shame we won't get HL2 on September 30th, but worse things happen at sea and we'll get it in the end. And it'll be great. Go Valve.
