Last night at the park...

Okay, last night my friends and I were at the park after celebrating my other friend's birthday. We were just on the swings minding our own business. Then here comes 3 kids, 2 of them are like in 4th grade. The day before, they were giving one of my friend's brother shit and also to one of my friend's basketball coach. They start giving my friend who was on the swing shit like, "Get the f*** off!" The short ones was saying this. This goes on for a few more minutes and more of them come. None of us wanted any trouble, so we started leaving towrads the community center that was across from the park. It would of been okay if one of by friend didn't have a temper and always has to say something. He said something that really pissed them off. One of the short ones started really pushing up against one of girl friends and she shoved him back. Another one had a football helment and was about to hit her with it, but one of my other friends shoved him away in time. They start throwing sand at us, calling us shit, and started kicking my friend who said something. All this time we keep walking. For the past year, I've been trying to help me friend with the temper with his temper, so real proud of him for keeping his temper in. We didn't want to fight them. We knew fighting would just make things worse. Most of us were afraid if they had a knife. Who knew what these people had on them. Once we got into the center, we called the cops who came and questioned us and found a few of the guys. All they gave them was a warning. They come back again later during the night and it looked like they were waiting for us to come out [we were in the gym area and they were in the lobby]. They were just sitting there and a few of them kept spying on us. The officer told us that if we say them again to give them a call. They've been getting reports of disturbances around the park. They come again, and give a long talk to those guys and they say sorry to us. You know they're not sorry. These type of people are never sorry for the shit they do. They'll be back again, harassing people. We ask the cops, "WTF?" They just told us it's as much our fault as theirs. WOW I seriously hate those F***** people. They really have nothing to do but f*** other people's day up. Someone please just round them all up and shoot them.

Now we're all just a bit paranoid. Watching all those gangster movies makes you think...

I know you don't want to fight, but you HAVE to teach them a lesson. You can do it as non-harmful as you can but you have to let them know that if you wanted to, you could kick their asses. Push them down, place your foot on their chest while they are down, and tell them to **** off or it'll be ten times worse the next time, in a loud yet clear and calm voice, with an accusing finger pointing at them.
 
Dude, if they would have attacked one of my friends I would have gone crazy. All my friends are like that too. Some random guy with his gang started to hit one of my friends girlfriend, and another friend just went up to that guy and tore his t-shirt off. Like, clean off. Then they backed away and came back with their entire family. That is when we ran :|

People who bully are 90% of the time cowards and scared of a proper fight.
Usually all you need to do is kick the crap out of the leader and they will stop, unless you have actually done something to get them angry with reason.

When people say "violence never solves anything" they are simply wrong, for me it has worked several times and completely diffused bullying/problems etc.
Only use it when they become a serious problem however, if you feel they are threatening to your health and wellbeing you have every right to remove that threat.
 
Only 2 of them were about 4th graders. 4th graders around here are about 10 years old I think. There's not a doubt in me that we could of takendown the 4th graders, it was the older ones we were worried about. The rest were older than us.

I remember when I was living with my step brother, he was about 4 years younger than I. So he woudl call me a fag or something, I'd whoop the shit out of him. Great fun.

But seriously man, 4th graders can be really dangerous. Really. This is a true story. I remember one time I used to get beat up by 4th graders like every day. They would throw sand from the sandbox and bugs at me and call me names like poopoohead or stupid. I would go home and cry for hours and one time I had to call the cops cuz they wouldnt let me use the swings.

But then, I learned not to be a f*cking pussy and actually started standing up for myself. So I took all their pokemon cards and wiped my ass with them.
This is a true story I hope you can learn from it kthxbye.

Ok here's the real deal my friend. You come across people like that, you find the nearsest pipe or stick and you make sure they know somethin. You cannot let people like that get away with what they do. Those kind of people will never listen to ANYTHING, but a good smack to the face with a nice steel pipe....and your first mistake is to go into a park at night (which is not the most safest of places at night.) It was partly your group's fault that you encountered these guys...If ya see em, make sure they know that your not a person who is easily altered and show them that...especially if their stupid kids.
 
Defend yourself.

You're probably going to get more respect if you stand up for yourself instead of running away. Heck, why not show them you're capable of swinging a few punches, it'd probably let them off you. Just make it clear you're not worth the trouble.

All that talk about "avoid fighting at all costs", "intelligent people don't fight", is bullshit in my experience. Well not entirely, but street respect doesn't involve intelligence.

If you're not going to fight you at least have to instill some respect. So what if someone is older? Unless they're 20+ you're not going to be that unadvantaged physically. Don't turn away from them, look them in the eyes, show them you're not afraid.

I doubt they'd have knives though, if they did they'd already be waving them in front of your face.

Just if they do have knives, RUN. Don't fight, just run, keep your distance. You always get cut in a knifefight.

If you live in an area where this is common, start working out if you aren't already. Practice kicks, high ones, buy a pair of dumbbells, get a punching bag or something.

You'll be able to steer clear from far more fights with a good physique rather than looking like Steve Urkel. It dosn't have to be that much, you can easily see which people work out and who don't.

There's more that is good to know, but some of it isn't the stuff I want to post publicly on a kid-friendly forum. There's a difference between showing someone you're not afraid to back off, and wounding the person (if it's necessary to protect your own life).

And yes, if someone is being aggressive toward you, the groin is a perfectly viable target.

Dude get someone to buy you that along with a bar and some weights. Then just hit it up like every day and bulk up. Not only can you gain strength stamina and confidence but you'll also be able to attract more of the ladies. As for fighting though... you gotta actually fight to get good at it, workin out and benching will help a lot but if you're as much of a pus... non-violent person as you seem to be, then you're gonna need a punching bag too.

But come on, starting shit over playground equipment is just f***** dumb, you should've just laughed at their asses.
