I would never have rated Republic Commando below Starfox. At least Commando is fun, something that only half of Starfox is.

Because they give games sensible scores?

6 or 7 out of 10 shouldn't be a poor score - yet it is in the vast number of publications out there. As some one pinted out already, a 7 or 8 in Edge is roughly on par with a 9/10 in most other mags.

yep agreed,edge are good coz they dont give way to the hype machine like other mags and they aren't biased like some websites(gs and their ps2 dislike),they review fairly and concisely

What did they both give God of War? That game has been getting amazing reviews across the board. GS gave it a 9.3 if I remember correctly and they grade pretty hard - especially on PS2 games.

Chaos Theory got 5/5 from Gamespy (for the Xbox) One of the negative comments was "graphics look too realistic sometimes."

I haven't played Future Perfect yet. How does it compare to TS2?

They are pretty identical IMO, the graphics and gameplay are pretty much the same.

Although the game is a lot gory now and added vehicles in both single player and arcade.

If you liked TS2, you'll probably like this as much. At least I did.

Thats why I love Half-Life²'s perfect 10 in Edge. I am so proud of valve, damn they did a great job even with all the stuff that got cut.
