I just found this awhile ago. Story was that this kid is a Rastafarian, and according to whatever religious tennets they go by (he cites it in the video), he is abided to keep his hair long.

I wouldn't expect Bush's home state to offer up that kind of respect -- and why is this matter so trivial? Oh, thats right. Becuz its texahs!

It always seems to be African hairstyles these days that that cause so much controversy. We're moving slowly out of flat out racism, but we still let it flourish under such guises as workplace banning of cornrows and other African styles, and situations like this.

People with that hair type do not have a ton of choices for alternatives... It's not as manageable as the hair of other races. We need to stop trying to restrict those hairstyles. It's just hair.

This is funny because:

1) His hair isn't that long.

I had long hair for a while in my teens. Long hair has been fairly normal for men and women through history, it shouldn't be a big deal TBH, and for the vast vast most part it isn't. Aside from the odd hick town that really needs genetic screening?.

You don't need to goto Texas. Try going for something bigger then the state itself, like running for congress, or getting an education revolving around Socio-Politics, and try working or developing a position that monitors poor decision making in adults that provides a sense of checks and balances to they're immature behavior.
