i was wondering if anyone knew of a tutorial for 3ds max 7 because i don't know how to do barely anything, and i just want to learn to make some basic 3d objects, thanks.

The manual would be a good place to start, otherwise you won't understand most of the tutorials.

you can download the manual as well as some of the intro tutorials somewhere on teh internet. You just have to look hard....

It doesn't sound like you will be "buying" this program. Stick with gmax.
