I'll definitely be pissed if I need to be connected to the internet to play single player HL2. I take my laptop with me just about everywhere and if I'm bored I'll usually start up a game. I don't always have a net connection so I won't be able to connect to steam. It doesnt make sense to me that they would require you to validate you're steamid to play single player considering a very large portion of people that will purchase this game do not have an internet connection.

Every game gets leaked nowadays, its common, Hl2 will be highly leaked, doom 3 within the first few days had lost 2.7million (or 2.7million pounds worth of game boxes) had been downloaded over the net.

When everyone comes in here screaming going "OMG HL2 HAS BEEN LEAKED" I will be with the people going "Yea...so?"
