Left 4 Dead 2 Gets 6 VGA Nominations & Midnight Riders

Spike TV have posted their nominees for this year and L4D2 is up for six! These include: Game of the Year, Studio of the Year, Best Xbox 360 Game, Best PC Game, Best Shooter and Best Multiplayer Game.[br]If you wish to pledge your allegiance to Left 4 Dead 2 you can vote here.[br]Many of us have been enjoying L4D2 for the past 2 days, and for anyone who has played Dark Carnival the name Midnight Riders may ring a bell. They are the band which the survivors discuss and oddly enough a suspicious website owned by Valve has popped up here - Midnight Riders. Whatever could it be?

Some DLC with the Midnight Rider dudes would be cool. But I will be supremely pissed if they announce some DLC for L4D2 before they announce anything Half-Life related.

It would be awesome to play as the Midnight Riders in some DLC campaigns. I would only hope it would be like Left 4 Dead 2 mixed with Spinal Tap, or any of its deviants.

It's not a coincidence, the Survivers we play are carriers of the infection they passed it on the pilot who then turned into a zombie.

Tsk, tsk people this is info from the walls of the demo. You can be immune to the infection but still carry the disease and pass it on to other non-immune people.

Why didn't you use the ?cc=UK/US method and just change your location to Uk/US and pay with a credit card? I did it 2 hours before the game came out.

I think that if they still have the voice actor for Francis around, it would be awesome to do a bit of forward-referencing and have him record a couple of lines like "And I was supposed to be seeing the Midnight Riders in New Orleans this weekend..."

As far as illnesses go carriers can host a sickness, but not display any symptoms or experience any effects of it.
