Valve have announced that Left 4 Dead 2 will be shown and playable during the upcoming Comic Con in San Diego. During this event Valve have promised to show more new content that L4D2 will ship with. Most importantly they will unveil "Swamp Fever", the second of the five campaigns shipping with L4D2 this fall. (See screenshot below)
In addition to the new campaign, Valve is also planning to unveil a few more of the 20-plus new items coming this November when the title launches worldwide on the Xbox 360 and PC.

Note the new weather effects!

If you are interested in attending this event details can be found below!

The game will be playable in the EA Gaming Lounge Presented by Xbox 360 from 2-9 pm Thursday-Saturday, and 12-5 pm on Sunday. The EA Gaming Lounge will be located in the Hilton San Diego Gaslamp Quarter Hotel, 401 K. Street.

For all the people complaining about it being all daytime stuff. This will show you it does have "dark" even though it may still be day. It is "dark". Lol

according to doug lombardi, only that new orleans campaign is set during the day... all other are during the night, twilight, dusk, or something like that :]

well, this fog effect looks awesome... shitty visibility... already giving me the creeps.. Imagine playing it on expert =X

That's a great screenshot.

That screenshot looks pretty sweet. I wonder if they'll use the weather effects in ep 3.

Man, am I the only who's disappointed by that screenshot? (Judging from this screen!) All they've done is ramped up the fog conditions, and used the same weather effects in L4D. I guess I'll have to see it in motion. But that screen definetly lacks a "wow" factor for me.

Can't wait to see the new content. That screenie looks pretty sweet, too.

This one looks like day, just with a lot of crap in the sky. I may be wrong though :x
Expert on this = Fail.
