I like it personally, but that's because green is my favourite colour. But Valve in our eyes has to be the best at everything. So...lets all agree that Valve are the best at bad box art. They are unbeatable.

A bit green, but toning it down with browns would just make it look like a Day of the Dead poster ripoff. Maybe a few dribbles of blood? =P Otherwise, lovely stuff.

Anyway, it's basically the logo they had at E3 and the few weeks prior stuck on a box. It's not a terrible box, I guess, but it's rather plain and that's such a harsh green.

What is so bad bout the cover besides that it mentions the number 4 twice? The average shopper wouldn't even notice that the missing thumb means that there a 4 digits up until the looked a few times. Nothing wrong with it, they might think it's clever. Also, green is one of the most appealing colors to the human mind, and it (in addition to the mauled hand) just screams ZOMBIES! Which is a large market, mind you.

So, really, the box art is perfect. The other idea mentioned, with the 4 survivors on the cover, would just be kind of lame. I like this better because it's... well... It's different.
