Left 4 Dead Intro

F*cking incredible, VALVe's best work yet.
 
I was gonna post this! Awesome none the less. The animations and face posing are ****ing incredible.

Ironically the only thing I'm afraid of is the game itself running like shit on my PC :O

This was excellent, it proves how well valve could make a full-length movie.
 
How long till we see someone license the source engine for a CGI movie :)?

As everyone has said, ****ing awesome. Need a 1080/720 download through steam though.

I'm not sure what I want more now, L4D the game, or L4D the feature length movie!

OK, been pondering this for a while now, but this does it: I'm getting a new PC.
 
Movie? Hey now, lets call it what it is: trailer/ad or what have you.

I'm not a fan of the guns akimbo thing, but I then again this is a zombie apocalypse, so its bound to be a little rediculous. If this is what we can expect ingame then, graphics wise, the Source engine looks pretty damn good.
 
That was incredible. I distinctly remember a function of Steam that would check to see if your PC could run a specific game, does anyone know where I can find that again? I'm fairly certain that I can run it, but I'd rather find out for sure now and pre-order it, than wait foe the demo on the 11th.
 
That was incredible, shows lots of the footage from the TV trailer and the Times Square trailer, now we know where it came from. Superbly done. Where are they finding the time to make these things!?

Well I just found out from my emails from Doug, that this video will actually be the intro video for Left 4 Dead, so it's not just for fun...it's actually for the game. Which is acceptable :p

it just checks the same exact specs as the box.....so far the requirements havent been released.
 
I'm guessing these are the L4D "Meet the" videos they promised a few weeks back? Or do you think they'll have more videos other than the "Before the campaigns" vids?
 
Seeing the 'famous' valve facial animation technology FINALLY implented in the game is a relief... i've never seen something so realistic.

This is where the word 'epic' can be appropriatly used.
 
That was incredible. I no longer have any hard feelings towards the current Francis and Zoey model, although the former ones were more badass and hotter.

I like how they portrayed Bill as their fearless leader, Zoey as the caring member, Francis as the seminal badass and Louis as the dumbass who sets off all the infected. I'm going to be playing Francis a lot and I expect myself to be doing that all the time. It's a wonder he didn't meet the fate of the stereotypical token black man in the intro considering all the hordes he set off.

PS: Was that actually done INSIDE the Source engine? I know those are the actual models and all, and I know there are a lot of things that Source is able to be pushed to do, but that looked so perfect!
