A new update has been released for Left 4 Dead tonight, the main addition being a new lobby browser.
The lobby browser (under Play Online) will show you a list of optimal games available for you to join. The browser pares down the thousands of lobbies and games currently being played to show you the best list of games available to you. This list includes official and add-on campaigns, including add-on campaigns you have not yet installed, making it a great way to discover them. You can filter by difficulty, official and/or add-on campaigns and by lobbies and/or games in progress.
Alongside this update there are several other small server and add-on campaign fixes as well as SDK changes. Full change log can be found here.[br]

Why wasn't this in there from day one :(

one thing they forgot to add to the lobby filter was to choose where the game is. It is going to be very annoying for me when i try to find a game from it and i get all american servers.

OMG! Valve just hates us a whole bunch! I can't believe they did this! They obviously don't care about L4D1 anymore!

Yeah, they finally released something a year later that should have been in the game upon release

Finally... Shame it took valve 8 month to do something that looks so simple and everybody asked for the day the DEMO was released

Valve made a commitment to Teamfortress. Turtlerock said **** you to L4D.

This is what happens when you release an unfinished game.

Guys it's free content we didn't have to pay for! Valve doesn't have to put in a server browser for L4D 1. Yet if you buy L4D 2 this Fall you will get it right out of the box (they promise....just trust them...).

Hool, are you seriously going to start this shit again?

I must warn you that it's going to go up by another two months if you persist. On top of your original ban period.

I can guarantee you that I will complain. Must I remind certain mods they must moderate a fan forum even if the fans express their own point of views?

Should I point out that I'm in charge of the forum?

File this under "Its about damn time!".

It was so aggravating not being able to find a good game that you where disconnected from.

Why would anyone want to use this gimped version of a server browser when you have the "openserverbrowser" command?

My guess is that most people aren't even aware of the command.

And if it's so ****ing simple to load it up, all the more reason Valve should have embedded the feature in a damn menu or something.

Not releasing this to begin with, or failing to actually patch this in promptly, is easily the stupidiest thing Valve has done.

Valve doesn't release something fans want - Complain

Valve releases something fans wants - Complain

I'm seeing a pattern here....

This was requested ever since the demo, to be fair.
