Made by the guys behind Auto Assault, not sure if that spells anything, but the studio is dedicated to MMOs so hopefully they know what they're doing with the brand.

Theres already a game out (free!) like this... without the MMO but (but it's multiplayer). It's called Blockland.

I doubt it'll be any good, but can you imagine the POTENTIAL it has?

Can you imagine what a year of collaboration on an entirely player-built lego collaboration by thousands and thousands pof people would end up looking like? We're not talking just big cool houses and replicas, but unbelievably massive lego creations the like of which have never even been imagined. Lego metropolises, except not functioning like a city, just an unimaginably huge construction.

I can just imagine it now, you go to one area and everyone building their race cars and racing around (some with guns and the others, cannon fodder) and then you go to another area and everyone's building mechs and going at it, then you go up into lego space and duke it out there. and at the end of the day you chill out and HALF-LIFE 2.NET City and take on a zombie horde.

perhaps you could define a game area for your construct and then set it too only people you invite to help build can do anything in there other than move around and look.

I dunno man, lego games are generally awesome and fun. Not counting the lego creator games, which were shit not counting the building parts.
