Well i'm new but i have to say that well i'm losing interest in it. I'v ebeen watching these forums for a couple months now. I've seen people really happy at 2 weeks beofre realease then get shut down with 1 week left. Acutally this could be a whole setup for all we know. See they have a so called excuse now because maybe the game wasn't finished in the first place. WE just don't know. I really lost interest

Go into the halflife2.net forums...go into general discussion. You will probably see like 20-50 topics on the first page (i dont know how many are on one page) I bet if you looked at the whole first page you would only really see 5 topics, which are being discussed in tons of different threads, so dont bitch about that.

Well the Beta situation has just gone from bad to worse and I'm really disillusioned with Valve and HL2 right now. I know it's not their fault, but I still feel they shouldn't have delayed.

A mix of the last 2 options. I don't really care anymore because HL2 doesn't seem that spectacular anymore for some reason. It just seems like a dream, like it's too far away so it being pushed back doesn't really matter anymore. MGS3 is what's got me obsessed now.

Just the same as before.... from everything I heard, HL2 is the FPS that I've always waited for- storytelling, acting, awesome settings, immersiveness, gameplay, etc... It's the content that I've been waiting for (and that will put HL2 above other games IMO). All other FPS's I've played have left me dissappointed in those areas and when I heard Marc Laidlaw talk about HL, it was like a religious experience.
