Let's all Play together!

Can someone tell me what patches I need to go from retail version UT2003 and retail version Halo, and then be able to play

When I'm playing, I'll give you guys a shout :)
 
Not sure, but I think Halo auto-updates when you go to the internet server list.
 
Yeah it does... but the fact is, I get sucky download rates through it :/

Annoying ;(
 
I don't which update is the latest, I'm sure it's on their website... I got mine with the ingame thing and it was pretty fast. I haven't played Halo online in a while though; the netcode is not so great. I'm going to play SP for a while now, and see if I can finally beat it.

I got the demo as soon as it came out, it 0wnz!

Here's what me and Chris_D advise you to do :

goto www.trackmaniagame.com and download the demo

Then, go onto the internet and look to see if there are any servers with a country name of halflife2.net and the password will be 'hl2roxor'

It won't always be up, but have a play anyway, even 56K goes good :)

The exact same thing happened to me. Does anyone know how to fix this. Im running a geforce4800se on 53.03

yay trackmania, i want to play the full version, but i dont want to use a credit card :(
 
because it involves all community members?

has anyone else been having trouble with their copies of Enemy Territory? ever since i updated to the latest version i've been getting horrendous lag and pings of up to 999. the only way i can get a decent ping is by turning off my firewall, and there's no way i'm gonna do that.
 
Stickys are meant for important messages that dont need to be announcements, not just popular threads, or threads mods want to keep afloat.
 
[Old Dogs] - = SELAS = - in CS and I just play on whatever CS server are available... I might start playing CoD at sometime.. not sure though Ill be named something with SELAS though

Also, http://www.gametiger.com/ are a good tool to find players with! :):)

Dont have Halo (for PC, only have it for Xbox)
And my Dvd-drive crashed yesterday (*sarcasm* yay *end sarcasm*) so i cant play a some games, and its totally unnecessary to get a new game since i wont be able to install it, and i dont know when i will get myself a new.

I cant find the demo, and looking at the screenshots, i really want to play this game :D
 
Ravenshield and America's Army. I got tired of Steam/CS a couple months back.... RvS is better than CS imho. I also play a little Halo and CoD now and again. I'm still on 56k so i get a bunch of lag. :( I always go by the name of Anthraxxx

I wanna play a game with someone. Not now, but something. Anyone got C&C generals? Or perhaps Medieval: Total war. I got trackmania but the halflife2.net server wasnt there :(

I have C&C Generals, but i dont have Zero Hour and i havent played online so i dont have any account, and the fact that my Dvd-rom drive has crashed means that i cant play any games that you need a Cd-rom/Dvd-rom to play...
 
ok i'm downloading the trackmania demo. i'll be up and ready to play in 20 or so minutes. anyone gonna host or shall i? if anyone wants to play look for a game called Dedalus hl2.net
 
Damn, i really want to play, but i have to finnish my coursework. 2000 words by tommorow....im up to 1200, but all this MSn chat and talking ont he forums has slowed me down.
 
I caught mrBadger on the jolt.co.uk U2 XMP demo server... and i was wonder are there any other people from the forum playing the XMP demo other then me and Badger?

I think im gonna pick this game up.
 
I didint think to download it to be honest. Maybe will now...once i finnish this work il look for a download location...unless of course someone wants ot lookf or me :)

i didn't bother with the demo, just downloaded the full version. i go as Dedalus (obviously). i'll look out for you.
 
They released the full version of XMP free, legally :), but you need to own Unreal 2 for it to work

yeah i bought Unreal 2 when it came out, played it through twice and haven't touched it since. XMP is a nice way to get me to reinstall it and give it another spin.

Yeah its good actually...In fact the public servers seem to have gotten better lately. For a while after they introduced the queue's, you would sometimes have to wait for over 100 minutes, except at times when the US was in bed. Now though, even in the daytime, i dont have to wait anymore than 10 minutes...and they have a UK server :)
