I think the 17th-18th (after Cyber Cafes exclusive weekend) is a good estimate for when it will be unlocked for CZ players, so preloading for CZ players might start by the end of the week. (Possibly, maybe)
 
that would be good. i wouldn't be able to play it until the 17th anyway
 
i'm moving house soon and have an awful feeling that my period without broadband is going to coincide perfectly with the cs:s beta release.. i'm generally "lucky" like that. in which case expect to start playing on the 20th...

At least they let you know before you loose power. We loose ours out of the blue for two days.
 
I just read a post on the steam CSS forums, that the preloading for CZ owners starts wednesday (tomorrow) doesnt effect me, but i hope for CZ owners sakes it works...
 
I'm guessing also that after this next weekend, that we'll have our beta test time.

I go back to school on the 23rd, and really hope that CS:S goes beta before my school goes back.
