V:TM was great, it was like playing through the game ahead with an even more sarcastic bastard at the helm.

I liked the Fallout 2 one because the character playing it was mentally retarded, which I hadn't actually tried before.

edit: rofflegasming at Knuckles flying around in Toejam and Earl's spaceship in the 'cut scenes' on Casino Night... too good... and wow, Mystic Caves :|

No I can't imagine that. Instead record the screen with fraps or something and talk into a mic, much easier. Ends up being a nice convenient video you can watch.

So I fire up the Battletoads one because it's on the front page and I'm still not sure what this site is about, and partway through the video, he mentions a list of the hardest video games online somewhere, which included Contra at #1 and Shinobi at #3. Is he nuts? I used to beat those on one quarter (for the uninitiated, that means I played them in an arcade, and not on a console). In fact, I got my start in video games in an arcade where the owner had a challenge on the Contra game where beating the high score got you a free dinner for two at the restaurant of your choice. My job was to keep the high score up where nobody could get it, and my pay was all the free games I could play. I'd waste that game on a single life like every day. What about games like Arkanoid? Badass was the person who took that game down on a single quarter.
