Levels!?

The IGN preview mentions the L word. I hate the L word. When Halflife(1) came out I thought it might well be the end of the L word. And I laughed at quake2, RTCW, MOH, etc. Because they couldn't do away with damn things. Getting rid of levels was artful and gave a real feeling of emersion. I know it’s a requirement in MP but in SP do you think we are really back to watching a little bar fill up again? Please tell me no!
 
Yes, it will be extremely stupid of Valve to make it like Doom, or Quake where you flip a switch to end some level :D I am sure it will be like Half-Life.
 
The previews just skipped ahead in points, to show a variety of landscapes. The game structure should be identical to Half-life, only less loading and larger maps.

Actually, Doom3 is switching to the Half-life no-level style too.
It seems that it's a good summer for fans of immersive plots. :)
 
Loading will take 5 minutes for 4x4ft square of level. And there is only 1 level and its 16x16ft. They renamed hl2 to Crap.

Wtf did u expect Lol, course is like hl1
 
It already was confirmed that it will be HL1 style...because it owns :p
