I keep Google news open a lot, right?

So on the top stories I see 'Turkish train wreck' or whatever, and in the snippet it said 14 died and 40 injured.
About an hour later, different pic, similar headline. Only now it says '100 killed in high-speed turkish train crash' okay, low estimates at first, whatever.

Another half-hour after that, the number is replaced with 124 dead. Just now, it read 139 dead!!! What is going on?!?

I understand that injuries can become fatalities, but not that many/ frequently!

Am I dreaming? Or does the news just blurt out the first things they get?

I only have a link to the latest article:

If it is a recent accident, they meant 14 so far, and they are sill searching for more.

No way, once they get that first count... if you're dead, too ****ing bad!

I guess, but they didn't put 'at least' or 'so far' in the parts I read, which is rather misleading. Because when 4 cars are derailed and there are only 14 confirmed deaths, there are only 14 'deaths' because theres a tiny, itty-bitty possibility everyone else is juuuuust fine. Whatever, damn reporters.

I'm guessing they meant 14 confirmed initial DOA's before they started the major search. Plus, injuries can turn to fatalities, and when searching for people in a train wreck, you're going to find more and more people :(
