HeadCrabUnion.com is officially introducing its episodic Half-Life 2 fan fiction story Life in the Mists, which was created by HCU member Ferran. Life in the Mists is an episodic story about the ongoing life of Baltimore resident Paul Calwell, after the attacks of the Combine on Earth, famously known as the 7 hour war.

There are currently 5 parts to the story so far, so people will have plenty to read. Please tell people that if they have any comments, suggestions, praise, or constructive criticism, to post in the story threads themselves and let the creator know what they think of his work. People can access all five parts of the story so far at the link below...

"The following is a series of journal entries from a teenage boy living in downtown Baltimore. Before the Combine shelled the city with headcrab payloads, they did something to the air. Now Baltimore is surrounded by thick mists. They are less prominent in the daytime, but the air never really clears. At night, its nearly impossible to see. Because of such dense population, headcrab populations increased dramatically. Now there are only a few score humans in the entire city. This is the story of one of them."

Not bad, its a pretty good story. Was no more interesting than some of the Fan fiction here from our great writers. :)

I did too, but I've long since read it. Very great story.

Edit 1: READ IT NOW DAMMIT!

Edit2: RIGHT NOW!

Thanks for posting this Sulkdodds! I absolutely love this story. We're lucky to have such a great writer, and he also told me that there's plenty more to come in the future.

Damn Sent, just about to post the link in the thread back in the Union boards!

I liked that alot. Bit short, and the main scenes (talking, fighting, running, action ka-pow! and stuff) didn't seem like the kinda things someone would put in their journel, but a good read all the same.
