can you make a light outside flicker at a random interval and how to put in some kind of sound

or if there is some other way that is even better that would be cool

i'm also trying to find that! in the lights custom appearance you can specify a interval but i can't seem to get it working! there is also an lightning entity but it just works as anormal light?!?

hang on I'm not entirely sure what you want to create here, you want lightning? as in arching electrical beams or do you want a light entity that flickers?

IF you want lightning then do this tutorial but in the beams properties give it a 'noise' value and mess around with it till it looks right, oh and for the record I know this works as I've already used the effect of lightning a fair bit in my mod,

As for a light flickering, you just make a 'light' entity and in the option called 'render FX' or some such there's a drop down menu and many of the options are flickering lights of varying types,
