Yes smaller. More bandwidth friendly (I guess that's why it was changed).

who says they are limited at 128? well for me even 1024x1024 worked...but im not sure if the server does accept them...well I could spray them even online, so i think they work!

Let the server decide which one you can use!
meaning. we can have more than one spray installed. if the server allows higher sprays, we will use them auto.

If an admin thinks his server is good enough. he can enable bigger sprays. if a server admin thinks that it is lagging. he can lower the res on the sprays or even turn off sprays.

I had 1024x1024 sprays working perfectly! Now im having trouble getting 128x128 images to work

If your spray is under 130kb it will show, they changed the filesize limit - not the size limit. However its hard getting an image below 130kb to be 128 x 128.

128x128 is enough for a spray I reckon, anything else will just bog the server when 40 people connect with 2mb of data to upload and download to everyone.

Already made me a 128x128 spray and it looks ok.

Is there any way i can convert a .jpg file to a .tgf file??, il use MS Paint to minimize the pic to 128x128

A 256x256 32bit image is about 86KB after you convert it to VTF... only a third of the size of a TGA image of the same dimensions.

32b 128x128 spray weighs in at 64kb so im assuming if the max size really is 130kb the best you can do is 256x256. allthough the 128x128 is a little small compared to my old 512x512 its still decent.
