Can someone point me to a place, where I can install and use Linux icons on my Win2k format?
Like replacing My Computer, Folder, .DLL, Recycle Bin, Network Places, icons to Linux..
I did infact search on Google, but I found nothing but complaint posts on various forums about Linux.

I'm not sure, but aren't icons just renamed bmps? you could theoretically do it yourself if that is the case, correct me on that though.

They usually come in .ico format, and I can't find where shell icons are stored on Win2k ;(

right, but isn't it the same basic type as a bmp? either way, I know you can make em with visual studio .net, and you can always take a screenshot or something :P

anyone else care to help?

I don't know in 2k, but in XP, the icons are stored in C:\Window\system32 under the name shell.dll

I can't help with anything else because I know zip about this topic.

You can get Linux icons for any OS, you'll just have to change everything manually. I have a set if you would like them :)

Yea, I would like them.. If you could, could you point me to a tutorial on how to use them on My Computer, and whatnot?
