lip infection (no pic, just question)

Alright I got my lip pierced this last saturday, and this morning I forgot to rinse my mouth out after I ate. I went to bed and boom I wake up at noon and the little f*cker is swollen, Ive started taking some antibotics but does anyone know of anything else or can suggest something to make the swelling go down? Also really Im not totally sure if its that I didnt rinse my mouth out either, cause there is a little ball of iron on the ring and I decided to hide it inside my mouth yesterday so maybe thats it. Alright thanks for any help you guys.

lol nope it doesnt hurt at all, its just the swollen part (to the left of it) was huge. I put some ice on it and rinsed it so its kinda starting to go down. but yea after you get used to it you dont even realize its there.

anyway every home should have Polydine, it's against infections, you should try that.

But yeah, I'm all too familiar with lip infections, they render you totally unatractive for a month or so. Just try some anti-bacterial agents and if it doesnt start healing in a couple of weeks, see a doctor.

I'm not a fan of lip or nose piercings, but I like the look of some eyebrow piercings and labret. In fact, I love the look of David Draiman's talons. (google image search if you don't know who he is. I'm too tired to do it myself )
