I do. As far as I know it's been there my entire life. Or maybe those few occasions with loud music caused it...

I only hear it when people tell me to stop and listen for the buzzing or ringing.

If you think about it, you WILL hear it... your mind creates it. It doesn't mean its always there.

Though for some people it is always there.

Yup. I got tinitus. I had it since last year when it was really annoying but now I have got used to it so it's not much of a problem.

Going to loud gigs makes your ears ring pretty badly afterwards.

Everytime I step when I'm walking I can hear, click, click,click... drives me mad.

Its normal to hear a sort of high pitched sound when youre in absolute silence. Thats where the phrase "deafening silence" comes from probably.
I cant hear it now because there is background noise.

Almost every night when I go to sleep. I'm always like... ok, gonna eb still and quiet and try to go to sleep, even tough it's so hot....and then I'll hear this tiny little mngamngamngamng And then I'm like, oh no.... And then it gets louder, and goes on, and it's irritating.

There's noise around me always, everyday. The computer, television etc. so when I go to bed or walk to a quiet place I hear a ringing noise in my ears pretty much every time. Thankfully it's not annoying in any way. It usually goes away after a few minutes.

My brother got tinnitus so when you ask him a question, no matter if you scream it or not, you always got to repeat yourself.

"What's up?"
- "What?"
"What are you doing?"
- "What?"
"WHAT ARE YOU DOING FFS!?"
- "Oh, err... nothing."

And I can hear the ringing through my crazy loud computer, Music, and TV. I don't really notice it though. Like everyone else is saying, it may just be me that's making the noise.

Not the ringing, i was talking to the people whos ears click then they move. That can be caused by sleeping on your side. Parts of the ear can become sort of detached or loose and are able to move around which is why they hear 'clicks'.

Not at the moment. When I was a kid, I'd have these crazy things- my hearing would suddenly get worse, and I'd get this overpowering ringing in my ears. It would only go away when I dropped everything and- well, for lack of a better word, meditated. Just pushed every thought from my head, took deep breaths, and sat completely still. To this day, I haven't figured out why this happened.

When I concentrate hard I can hear a high pitched noise. There must be something psychological about this. I mean, I think everyone should be able to hear something in their head, most of the time we just ignore it.

I've never really looked into it, but I figure it's caused by damage from either otitis media, or years of listening to loud music. In fact, as I type this, I'm listening to music (Tool - Vicarious).

I tried it today while I was swimming in the lake. Held my breath underwater, and all I heard was a faint thump of my heartbeat. Now I just hear computer fan and fridge. I think you are all going deaf from listening to too much heavy metal.
