Literacy Test

I got a 70, but I like tests like these. I really need to go back to school

We did a second one. It was a test we made up ourselves, we were divided up by our majors and were asked to write down three questions that you feel every person should know about your subject matter.

I figured I wouldn't post that one since everyone got upset over this one.

I read the questions. **** you, I'm literate.
I'm with him. And in grade school I only learned about 50% or less of these (though I knew more from other sources), it might be a literacy test wherever OP is, but not here.

I agree that basic knowledge in all fields, including natural science, is good, but I wouldn't include that question in that basic knowledge. (Mainly because I didn't know the answer :P)
Among non-American English-speakers, 'alkali' is often used as a synonym for 'base', even though they're not strictly the same thing.

I move the original poster be banned for posting such a moronic quiz.

I want to move (I want to move), but you're hogging me, you're guarding me (damn!)

Does this thread even have a purpose now?

1900s is early 20th century. There were people in England before the Romans showed up, and LONG before the Normans showed up. Bastille Day is a song by Rush.
